Roger Wong is a design leader writing about AI, design leadership, and the future of product design—with over two decades of experience at Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, and BuildOps.

I’ve led design teams at companies ranging from startups to some of the biggest names in tech, cofounded a VR startup called Transported, and built an AI-powered brand strategy tool. These days I’m Head of Design at BuildOps, where I lead a team working on field service management software. I write here about what I’m learning, what I think is changing, and where design is headed. I live in San Diego with my family. I do not surf.
